A Note from Mealtones

The deeply layered, flavorful broth is the key to the dish. It's totally addictive: scarlet-red spicy, nicely charred flavor, and dotted with plump chunks of squid and wood ear mushrooms for texture. The noodles are pleasantly chewy, manufactured in the same way that hand-pulled noodles are made. You can also taste freshly cooked vegetables that are quick frozen at temperatures below -60℃, meaty with char on the outside, as if hot off the wok.



The dish is a delicious combination of flavors and textures: pleasantly firm and smooth noodles in a spicy, savory broth, with generous pieces of squid on top.

Delicious jjambbong ready in 7 minutes!

  • STEP 1 Thaw

    Put the sauce package in boiling water and thaw or heat for 7 minutes.

  • STEP 2 Heat

    Put the pre-cooked noodles in boiling water and thaw for a minute.

  • STEP 3 Season and Serve

    Place a serving of the noodles in a bowl and pour the sauce on top.
