A Note from Mealtones

We only use 100% Korea produced beans and make maeju (origin of the paste) and revived the nature's taste as it is. With good beans, Onggojib paste has rich amount of minerals and natural amino acid.

Recipe

  • STEP 1 Directions for Cheonggukjang Jjiggae for 2 persons

    prepare the followings: cheonggukjang 200g, radish 1/5, zucchini 1/5, cheongyang pepper 1, minced garlic 1 big spoon, tofu 1/2, green onion 1/2, anchovy base soup 800ml

  • STEP 2 Vegetable preparation

    Mince radish, zucchini, green onion, and cheongyang pepper

  • STEP 3 Boiling the soup

    Boil up 800ml of anchovy base soup then put the heat at medium level then put zucchini and radish until they get cooked.

  • STEP 4 Putting Cheonggukjang

    Put cheonggukjang and stir

  • STEP 5 Finishing up

    At medium heat level, boil 5 more minutes then put tofu, miced garlic, green onion, cheongyang pepper for 2 more minutes.
